ABOUT ME

BELIEF #1

Reading is an escape from reality, and sometimes, we need to be in an imaginative world.

BELIEF #2

We are all perfectly imperfect beings and shouldn't be afraid to show our flaws.

BELIEF #3

Only you can take a step in the right direction and take control of your actions.

I'M CHANTELLE

I write with one rule: if it doesn’t make me want to jump through a portal and never come back, it’s not going in the book. If given the choice between a dragon and a dinner party, I'm already on the dragon.

Sometimes the best way through reality is to write your way into a fantasy world.

As an ADHD writer who somehow thrives in chaos (don’t ask me how because I don't know either), I dream and write fantasy and paranormal romance inspired by my obsessions with dragons, magic, and fantasy men who exist only on the page.

When not building intricate fantasy worlds I'm daydreaming of living in, I can be found playing fantasy video games or collecting pretty notebooks and pens I have no intention of using.

Thanks to my daughter and the encouragement of my supportive husband, I transformed my dream into reality.

I'm passionate about creating compelling fantasy romance and paranormal romance stories that engage and surprise readers.

I love to provide information to other creators so they can boost their own knowledge and become better writers.

MY STORY

I grew up on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia, where I spent much of my childhood before moving to Brisbane for the high school years. At nineteen, I moved states to the Central Coast of New South Wales, where I met my husband, Ryan.

Writing short stories and going off into the imaginative world took up a lot of my time growing up. I love the magical fantasy romance world in particular, but I dive into paranormal romance as well. I've read so many fantasy books over the years, and they continue to be my inspiration to keep writing and to follow my dreams.

I have so many half-written books, I could fill a bookshelf—well, maybe not that many... but certainly enough that I should have completed at least two more books ready to publish.

I'd better get my writing on!
